Report: PM: Russia, Belarus must find joint energy mkt solutions

MINSK, Jan 26 (PRIME) -- Russia and Belarus must find systemic solutions for joint energy markets in the Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union in 2021, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko told his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin on Tuesday, as cited by Vesti.ru. 

"Dear Mikhail Vladimirovich, we have several urgent tasks we must work on this year. The search for the joint energy markets solutions in the Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union is among them," he said.

Golovchenko also said that Russia and Belarus had lost 20% of the trade volume in 2020, and can restore this amount in 2021.
